INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup oat meal or breadcrumbs
- pinch of Salt and pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry Italian herbs or herbs of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- brown sugar, or sweetener of choice (optional)
- hot sauce (optional)
- 1/2 cup Joon Pomegranate Sauce
- fresh chopped parsley or pomegranate seeds for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Mix the ground turkey, oat meal or breadcrumbs, salt and pepper, herbs, garlic onion and egg
- Form the mixture into balls
- Place the meatballs on a cookie sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes
- Mix the Joon Pomegranate Sauce with sweetener and hot sauce to taste
- Toss the meatballs in the sauce
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds or fresh herbs
