INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans of chickpeas (3 cups)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Joon Sumac Spice blend
- ½ teaspoon dry or fresh chopped thyme
- ½ teaspoon crushed pepper flakes (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place the rinsed chickpeas in a large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and toss together till evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave the tray in the oven for another 30 minutes while the oven is cooling down.
