INGREDIENTS

  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • ½ cup raw almonds or peanuts
  • ½ cup raw pecans
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup dried cherries
  • ½ cup hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup pistachio kernels
  • 6 ounces (2 jars) Joon Saffron Honey
  • Sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Chop the mixed nuts to desired size, they can also be used whole.
  2. Gently heat the mixture of raw nuts in a frying pan till fragrant and slightly toasted. A small amount of coconut oil can be used to grease the pan (optional).
  3. In a mixing bowl add the dried fruits, nuts, seeds and the Saffron Honey.
  4. Stir the mixture till everything is covered with the Saffron Honey
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on parchment paper placed on a large baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes at 350ºF.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle sea salt over the mixture.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into even sized bars or chunks.
