INGREDIENTS
- ½ teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
- ½ cup raw almonds or peanuts
- ½ cup raw pecans
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup dried cherries
- ½ cup hazelnuts
- ¼ cup raw pumpkin seeds
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup pistachio kernels
- 6 ounces (2 jars) Joon Saffron Honey
- Sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Chop the mixed nuts to desired size, they can also be used whole.
- Gently heat the mixture of raw nuts in a frying pan till fragrant and slightly toasted. A small amount of coconut oil can be used to grease the pan (optional).
- In a mixing bowl add the dried fruits, nuts, seeds and the Saffron Honey.
- Stir the mixture till everything is covered with the Saffron Honey
- Spread the mixture evenly on parchment paper placed on a large baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350ºF.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle sea salt over the mixture.
- Allow to cool before cutting into even sized bars or chunks.
