INGREDIENTS
- 1 stick salted butter softened to room temperature
- 4 tablespoons Joon Saffron Honey. Warm the honey slightly for this recipe by either heating in the microwave for 10 seconds or insert the jar in warm water for 5 minutes.
- Toasted sliced almonds for topping (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a mixing bowl combine the soft butter and the saffron honey.
- Use a hand whisk or blender attachment whip the mixture till soft and combined into a silky consistency. Store and Refrigerate in sealed container before use.
- The honey butter can also be formed into a log and refrigerated. Once cool and firm, it can be cut into slices for use on baked goods such as toast, rolls and baguette.
- Top with sliced almonds (optional)
