INGREDIENTS
- 3 large Idaho potatoes cut into fries (sweet or red potatoes or a mix of variety of potatoes can also be used)
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 cup white cheddar or mozzarella cheese cut into small pieces
- ½ cup Joon Sumac Sauce
- 1 small onion finely chopped (optional)
- Salt and Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Toss the cut potatoes with oil, salt and pepper.
- Place the potatoes on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375ºF for 30–35 minutes. Turn once or twice till they are evenly cooked.
- For the gravy, cook the onion and the mushrooms gently in one tablespoon of the oil till the onions are soft and translucent, add the Sumac Sauce.
- Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Top the fries with cheese and add the warm Sumac Sauce.
